Welcome to the
Old Lyme Historical Society

Since its beginning in 2005, the Old Lyme Historical Society has produced exhibits, published books, conducted cemetery tours, held dinner lectures, and hosted Antiques Appraisal Fairs – all in pursuit of our mission to preserve and analyze Old Lyme’s past. In 2014 we bought the old Grange Hall at 55 Lyme Street. Thanks to our volunteer "Tuesday Morning Work Crew"- and with help from local contractors, updates to the circa 1900 building are nearly done. The lobby is now an office, the original ceiling in the main hall has been revealed, and an archive storage area has been completed. A new, handicapped-accessible entrance will be next.

Thank you for your support in helping to bring Old Lyme's history to life for new generations!
